The Fossil Fuel Treaty is a call for a global exit plan from coal, oil and gas that has been spearheaded by Pacific island states and is gaining endorsements all around the world. The Green Party and its MPs have already endorsed the treaty. Now we need a groundswell of support from local government to show Keir Starmer this is something he should take seriously.
Local councillors can take the fight for a globally just fossil fuel phase out back to their local councils, by campaigning to see motions of support passed.
