Amid unimaginable suffering, the government has paused trade talks with Israel. Now help us go further.
The suspension of trade talks is a step forward, which we’ve been demanding for many months. It is unconscionable that the government has been discussing closer economic ties with a country engaged in a genocide.
But they must go further. The British government must come out now and institute comprehensive sanctions. At a minimum, this must include suspension of the current UK-Israel trade agreement and a ban on settlement products entering British markets.
Ask your MP to demand sanctions on Israel.
