Tokio Marine: Don’t Insure the East African Crude Oil Pipeline

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline is a massive fossil fuel project that risks displacing thousands, disrupting millions of people’s water supply, and releasing 34 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. 
 
The corporations behind EACOP are still looking for insurance for the project. Thanks to global pressure, more than a dozen insurers have already ruled themselves out of insuring it. But several companies – including UK-based Tokio Marine Kiln – still remain. 
 
Write to the CEO of Tokio Marine Kiln and demand they rule out insuring this climate-wrecking project.
