Trade deals affect so many aspects of our everyday lives, from food standards and environmental protections to public services. Yet parliament and the people have no say over new trade deals being negotiated.
It’s a scary prospect. It means that when it comes to the US-UK trade deal, we could be importing chlorine washed chicken, or handing large parts of the NHS over to US corporations. We can’t afford not to have a say on future trade deals, for now, and future generations.
Could you donate to our trade campaign today and help get more people on board to fight for trade democracy?
