Help resist monopoly capitalism

Over the decades of campaigning, we’ve seen big shifts in how our global economy works. But now we’re facing capitalism at its most extreme. Markets are dominated by just a few corporations, giving them enormous control over vital resources and leverage over countries, undermining democracy.

More than ever, we need to resist this broken economy that is eroding human rights, working conditions and the environment. We can do this by coming together as a global movement.

Can you help us do this by bringing key international speakers to our conference all about monopoly capitalism?

  • Parminder Jeet Singh, the director of IT For Change in India

  • Julia Kosgei, of The People’s Vaccine Alliance

  • Organiser (who, to be confirmed) from the Landless Workers Movement, Brazil

By donating today you’ll be helping to strengthen our movement by building our understanding of the complex economic challenges we’re facing today and how to create change.

  • How your donation would make a big difference:

The majority of our funding comes from our supporters, which means we rely on donations from people like you to build our movement. We understand these are difficult times and not everyone is able to donate, but if you are in a position to, you can help to cover:

    • Flights from outside of Europe to get key speakers to our event to share their understanding of how monopoly capitalism is impacting on the global south.

    • Visas for international speakers so we can strengthen our global movement by building connections and alliances.

    • Accommodation to host our speakers so we can come together to deepen our understanding of monopoly capitalism and what we can anticipate for campaigning in the future.

Should we raise more than the cost of travel and accommodation for our speakers, we will use the additional funds for the rest of our conference and wider mobilisation activities.
