Help stop the misuse of aid money

UK aid should be used to support a just response to the climate crisis, global inequality and the Covid-19 pandemic. In recent years, however, the British government has been using aid to fund unaffordable private hospitals, dirty fossil fuel projects and low-quality, for-profit private schools.

Not only that, the government abolished the independent Department for International Development (DfID) last year and is now pushing ahead with ideologically-driven cuts to the aid budget. This will see vital support to marginalised communities cut, while projects that meet the UK’s strategic foreign policy objectives are being better preserved.

By donating today, you could help keep up the pressure to oppose this government’s attacks on aid and build awareness of its continuing misuse of the aid budget.
