Call for release of Ugandan student activists

On 24 November, seven students in Kampala were unjustly arrested during a peaceful climate protest against the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), a massive fossil fuel project threatening 100,000 people and Lake Victoria.

The Students Against EACOP activists face baseless charges and are held in a maximum-security prison.

Stand in solidarity: email the Ugandan High Commission in the UK, urging intervention for their release.
