With COP29 UN climate talks happening this November we urgently need to up the pressure on our new government to back the Fossil Fuel Treaty. This proposal is for a planned, global phase-out of the fossil fuel industry.

Mitzi has first-hand experience of climate crisis. Hearing from her will bring home the urgency of this crisis to our decision-makers and the public. But it will also offer hope through the treaty and inspiring activism in climate-vulnerable countries.

- Bring activist Mitzi Jonelle Tan to the UK: Help cover Mitzi’s flight so she can share first-hand experiences of the climate crisis with the public and our politicians.
- Enable nationwide outreach: Help cover transport and accommodation costs across the UK for Mitzi and our campaigners, so we can engage more people and influence key decision-makers on the need for meaningful change.
- Strengthen grassroots movements: Contribute to the cost of hosting events in six venues across the UK, empowering the grassroots movement for climate action.
- Maximise public engagement: Boost attendance at our events by supporting both online and offline promotion, reaching as many people as possible.
Should we raise more than the cost of the speaker tour, we will use the additional funds for Global Justice Now Trust in general, helping make our climate campaign possible.
