The UK government has agreed a deal with Donald Trump that will see the NHS pay pharma companies much higher drugs prices.
This will cost the NHS £45 billion by 2036 – but so far the government has refused to say how the UK will pay for this, or give MPs a vote on the deal.
Research in the British Medical Journal shows that diverting NHS funds to pay for it would result in more than 200,000 avoidable deaths of patients by 2036.
On this matter of crucial importance to the NHS, this secrecy is outrageous. What do ministers have to hide?
Sign our petition urging the health secretary to come clean on the true costs of this deal – and agree to a democratic vote in parliament.
