The UK government has agreed a deal with Donald Trump that will see the NHS pay pharma companies much higher drugs prices.
This will cost the NHS £9 billion a year by 2036 – but so far the government has refused to say where it will get the money.
A huge majority (64%) of the British public oppose giving big pharma companies more money if it means diverting funding from other parts of the NHS. And experts say doing so would result in tens of thousands of excess deaths each year.
On this matter of crucial importance to the NHS, this secrecy is outrageous. What do ministers have to hide?
Sign our petition urging health secretary Wes Streeting to come clean on the true costs of this deal – and agree to a democratic vote in parliament.
