Stop UK aid fuelling big business

The government is using the UK aid budget to expand its own markets across the globe, with no thought for the people it should be helping or its impact on the climate crisis – dubbed 'Empire 2.0'.

It is contributing to massive use of fossil fuels, the erosion of worker’s rights, and the promotion of private business over public welfare.

Can you donate today to help push for a better use of UK aid money?

Your support can help us put pressure on our government to ensure that aid money is spent where it is needed most – rather than boosting the profits of big business.

The current system ensures that the rich will continue to get richer while the majority get poorer – despite aid money having a legal requirement to be spent on poverty reduction.

By donating today your gift can help:

  • Help us reach out to leading politicians asking them to support the use of UK aid to strengthen public services rather than expand privatisation.

  • Create educational videos and online resources highlighting to the public how UK aid investments are helping extract wealth from the global south.

  • Fund a stunt protesting against the misuse of UK aid to bring more people to the campaign.

  • Help produce and circulate our upcoming report showing how UK aid is being used to aggressively develop market access for British companies.
