Support our campaign to stop the misuse of aid money

Instead of helping to tackle the root causes of global poverty, aid is being used to support multinational corporations, build shopping centres and force poor countries to privatise their public services. Aid urgently needs to stop being used as a corporate cash cow and become a tool for social justice

But public awareness is starting to grow and we’re seeing a wave of voices calling for change. You’re one of them! From ordinary people in the UK, to seasoned activists, recognition is growing that profit-driven aid spending is the wrong approach.

Check out what your donation can do

Your donation today could:

  • Pay for groundbreaking research detailing how aid spending can reduce poverty and inequality in practice, so we can prove to politicians that real change is possible.
  • Help more people to put pressure on their MPs to take action, by paying for more action cards, getting our e-actions out to new people through social media, or supporting our activist groups across the UK with the resources they need to take the campaign into their communities.
  • Build awareness of the scandal of profit-driven aid spending by producing innovative and engaging communications -- getting the issue into the mainstream media, so we can ramp up the pressure on those in power.
  • Make sure our voice remains strong, informed, and persuasive by enabling our campaigners to take part in important policy meetings and make sure to prioritise the voices of the people affected by the issues profit-driven aid spending creates.
